Who We Are

In 2014, the El Dorado Film Festival was founded as part of the South Arkansas Arts Center's 50th Anniversary Celebration.  El Dorado Film Festival has brought filmmakers together and, in turn, created opportunities for those filmmakers to grow together. We put our heart into building these relationships, celebrating the amazing accomplishment of making a film, and giving the audiences a direct connection to filmmakers.

Filmmaker Kim Swink (Valley Inn) said:

"In the past 18 months, I've been to more film festivals, large and small, than I can recall without looking back at my datebook; and they have, almost without exception, been amazing and rewarding; but I can honestly say, regardless of size or location, that the El Dorado Film Festival was special...magical."
